Registration is now open for our annual August Cabin / Camping Leather Denim Run – a casual, friendly social week (or weekend) at an isolated camp just north of Sudbury. With a Cabin 4 equipped with various loaner equipment to try out, plus other areas to do what you like with, it’s a great time to connect with other leather and adventurous men of all levels, with no pressure to do anything other than what you ant to do with your time there
We have 4 large cabins, that sleep up to 24 men , with single and double beds. We also have many tenting sites for the more rugged.
There’s propane fridges and stoves, full running water, showers, and lights in the cabins. There is no electricity except for Cabin 4, but arrangements can be made for anyone with C-pap or other electrical needs. More details about the run facilities here.
You can come for the full week, just the weekend, or whatever combo you want. Cost is $160 CAD for the weekend, or $355 CAD for the full week – which is a great deal, considering it includes the camp site, all meals, and space in a cabin with bedding provided, canoes, and wood heated hot tub.
We currently have interest and reservations by Leathermen from Toronto, Timmins, Sudbury, Sturgeon falls, North Bay, Sault St. Marie, Stratford, Detroit, and San Francisco to name a few. It’s also for beginners and the curious. Come play and learn with some of North and South America’s most experienced men.

Hot Men, Hot Play and Hot Temperatures – Over 38 C / 100 F
We enjoyed attending our 1st 15 Association’s Boot Camp weekend. Over the 5 days we got to know many of the attendees – 15 Members and Guest. The weekend was filled with 3 delicious meals a day, activities and free time to play and relax. Most of the relaxing was in the cool waters of the pool given the afternoon temperature went over 38 C / 100 F on a couple of days.
The weekend is held in a beautiful valley that is private. Several type of sleeping accommodations where available – Large Cabins, Individual Cabins, Large Bunkhouse and Camp Site. We chose to camp, setting up the tent underneath a several large trees near the pool, hot tub and shaded outdoor play area. We were able to run an extension cord from the pool area to the tent so there would be power for lights and fan. The fan really helped move the air around in the tent during the day and night. A night the temperature cooled down enough to make snuggling under a light comforter possible.
No Longer Boot Camp Virgins –a Fun but Hot Weekend

Okay, its been many years since either of us have lost our leather and BDSM virginity but this time its a new BDSM event weekend we are attending in mid-June. We will be attending the 15 Association’s Boot Camp XXVII weekend from June 11th – 15th. More information about the 15 Association can be found here.
We are looking forward to this event based on the positive feedback we have heard from 15 Association members and Boot Camp attendees. It must be a fun weekend to be in its 27th year and almost sold out.
150+ guys get together for a long weekend of BDSM fun in a private 260-acre pristine valley, in the beautiful rolling hills of Northern California, 2 1/2 hours west of Sacramento and 2 1/2 hours north of the San Francisco Bay Area. There are many accommodation options to choose from at the place – cabins, bunkhouses and camp sites. Master Chuck and I are planning to set up a tent. This will be our first camping adventure together.
The 15 Association does an excellent job in setting up areas for play indoors and outdoors. One of the things Master Chuck and I are looking forward is to play outdoors in the evening / night under tall trees and the canopy of the stars / night sky. Hmm, don’t recall being bound up to a tree before. Something I will have to put on our to do list besides hiking, swimming, relaxing in the hot soaking pool, socializing with other kinky men and smoking a cigar while sipping a fine bourbon.
Master Chuck and I look forward to sharing more and some pictures after Boot Camp.

Now that Rocco is no longer the current Eastern Canada Leather Sir I have taken back the one extra inch of bed that was allotted to him as a current title holder.
Apart from that not much has changed.

During his title year Rocco presented a seminar which has led to interest in bondage in the Sudbury area. Rocco’s big accomplishment was organizing and hosting North Eastern Ontario’s Only International and now annual Leather Denim Run called SLAGMen. SLAGMen will be repeated again this year with interest growing from as far away as Brazil, San Francisco, London, Toronto, Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, North Bay and Sudbury. Many of us claim to play safe, and practice SSC (Safe Sane Consensual) RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) or even PRICK (Personal Responsibility Informed Consensual Kink). Yet how many have actually taken a risk management course?
This seminar is for beginner and experienced players. It will explain how to risk manage a scene, with the opportunity to gather in small groups to run through a “realistic play scene” from a risk management perspective.
Master Chuck has presented this workshop at TEASE and Mr. Leather Ottawa.
2 “BOOT BLACKING 101” and “ROPE CARE & FINISHING”

Both useful topics for the BDSM/kink/etc. world, slave Eric will show the basics of boot blacking while Thug Rocco demonstrates “whipping” rope ends (so they don’t unravel) and how to keep your rope in neat bundles.
After a joint introduction, separate stations will be set up for hands-on practice and discussion time.

This Sudbury Pride 2013 event is hosted by SLAGMen (Sudbury Leather & Gay Men).
SLAGMen is an informal Sudbury area based group of gay and gay comfortable men interested in Leather, Denim, bondage, BDSM, kink, etc. It encourages exploring oneself, being adventurous, safety, and a supportive community.
